United Corpus Christi Chamber’s “Members Who Lunch” at Sal’s Bronx Pizza
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Every second Wednesday of the month, the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce teams up with Sal’s Bronx Pizza to host “Members Who Lunch.” The event is hosted, or co-hosted, by one or two businesses who are members of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce. The turnout each month is a great indicator that Corpus Christi is definitely open for business.
“Local businesses are the lifeblood of our community, and the Chamber is the best champion and supporter! I love networking with these amazing folks!” said Ashleigh Thomas, of Mortgage Financial Services.
“A great and welcoming networking group. I’ve built great relationships here!” said Irene Burg, of Frost Bank.
Joe Hopkins of the local Hopkins CPA Firm said, “The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce has brought back unity for the community in this time as we exit pandemic quarantine.”
As a co-sponsor of this month’s event, Ariel Garcia of Ariel Garcia’s Local Geico Insurance office gave a presentation to the attenders. They were on hand to share information on services they provide, as well as answer questions. Cathy Morin Villafuerte, owner of the Blue Canary Marketing Agency, and Lorraine Eidson of Love the Locals CC, enjoy a meal and conversation with Joshua Biggs, owner of Top Hat Safe and Locksmith, and his daughter. Kris Tovar founder and owner of Coastal Media (left), and Greg Perkes of Perkes Law Firm (of), are two of the three co-owners of Sal’s Bronx Pizza. Their warm hospitality at the monthly networking event, as well as weekly events which Tovar co-hosts, helps to promote collaboration rather than competition between small business owners. All Star hosts a lunch networking event every Tuesday at noon, and the invitation is open to everyone who wants to support local business.
