Fulton Oysterfest is gearing up for their 44th Annual Fulton Oysterfest March 2-5, 2023 at Fulton Navigation Park.

This event is the Largest Festival throughout South Texas. Fulton Oysterfest was created 44 years ago by Googles Cole and several other firemen, with all proceeds benefiting the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department. The event kicks off Thursday, March 2 with a fireworks show at 8:00pm, followed by a whole weekend of Live Entertainment, Carnival, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Oyster Eating Contest, and let’s not forget the Oysterfest Parade on Saturday, March 4th at 11:00am.

This eagerly awaited event is fun for the entire family and is sponsored by the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department (FVFD). This 100% all-volunteer fire department provides vital lifesaving fire prevention and fire fighting services to the town of Fulton and Rockport. The FVFD relies on this fundraiser to purchase needed equipment and training to personnel.

As the saying goes, “It takes a special hero to run into a burning building while everyone else is running out,” and these volunteers represent the real life heroes of the community. Not hesitating to risk their lives, rushing out of bed in the middle of the night and leaving their loved ones, the members of the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department safeguard other people’s lives and property, absolutely for free.

The Fulton Oysterfest runs from March 2-5, 2023 at the Fulton Festival Grounds, Fulton Beach Park, N Casterline Dr., Fulton, TX 78358. General Admission on Thursday is $2.00 and Active/Retired Military are free. Admission on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is $5.00 for those ages 12 and over.

If oysters are not your thing, an assortment of food from shrimp, burgers, tacos, and much more are also available.
